A Spouse KITAS is a permit for foreign spouses of Indonesian citizens, valid for one year and renewable annually, extendable up to five times. Each extension grants an additional one-year stay permit.

Following the fifth extension, the Spouse KITAS holder can choose to apply for a permanent stay permit (KITAP) or opt for a new Spouse KITAS. Alternatively, you can also apply for a KITAP after being married for two consecutive years.
